Rangers Valley Cattle Station is a company dedicated to the
production of high quality grain fed beef. The Rangers Valley
32,000 head feedlot is the 4th largest in Australia and is
located on a 12,000ha property in the Northern Tablelands of New
South Wales, Australia.
At Rangers Valley, we embrace food safety, meat quality,
animal welfare and the environment as our key pillars to
producing premium beef. As a result, Rangers Valley leads the
Australian industry in implementing standards on safety and
quality assurance throughout our production supply chain. For
example, our individual animal electronic identification
traceability system is underpinned with DNA records of each and
every animal which Rangers Valley produces to ensure full
product integrity.
Furthermore, Rangers Valley has implemented a number of
production standards to ensure the meat quality and tenderness
is maximised. These include:
• All cattle are Black Angus Steers
• All cattle are long fed on a special ration to maximise
tenderness and flavour and not to maximise growth
• All Black Angus will be Marble Score 3-4
• All cattle are Hormone free
• All cattle are purchased directly from the farmer to
minimise stress
• All cattle are fed in a cool climate to minimise stress
These points of difference between Rangers Valley and other
suppliers is the reason our beef is naturally tender and full of
flavour, and is sold in many of the leading restaurants and
retail outlets throughout Australia and Asia.
Rangers Valley feedlot operations are accredited under the
National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme which is a third party
audited HACCP quality assurance program that covers all aspects
of product integrity, care of the environment and animal
welfare. Rangers Valley beef is currently marketed and sold in
Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, the Philippines,
Singapore, USA, Indonesia, Dubai, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Macau and
Russia. The success of Rangers Valley in these markets is a
result of working closely with distributors committed to
building the Rangers Valley brand.
